I'm not going to do a review of all his stories, but this is his most famous one and I really liked this one.
This story is about a man who has many pets, but his favorite one was their (he was a wife) cat. One day the cat ignores him and he murdered him. He felt guilty and the guilt doesn't go away. Basically the moral of this story is that you just don't murder someone (or something)!
This story reminded my of Mr Norris in the Chamber of Secrets (when you've read The Black Cat you'll know why). It was really horrory as well (which I like haha). All his stories are really short which is good because you can read it in one sitting without getting distracted.
Have you read The Black Cat?
