Review: Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen
Summary:
Halley has always followed in the wake of her best friend, Scarlett. But when Scarlett learns that her boyfriend has been killed in a motorcycle accident, and that she's carrying his baby, she was devastated. For the first time ever, Scarlett really needs Halley. Their friendship may bend under the weight, but it'll never break--because a true friendship is a promise you keep forever.
My opinion:
I liked it, but nothing more. I felt like this was one of my least favorite Dessen books (I gave The Truth About Forever even a lower star) but it was a nice read. I also thought that Halley and Scarlett were too close sometimes (like they are getting a relationship instead of friends) but Sarah Dessen never showed scenes like they too close (if that makes sense).
If you haven't read any Dessen book yet I don't recommend you to start with this one, but it's still worth the read. I think everyone can recognize something (your first love etc.).
Have you read Someone Like You and what's your opinion about it?
