Review: Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare

This book was so amazing! First of all: the writing style! It felt like I was in a movie and I saw everything standing and seeing. Cassandra Clare describes everything so perfectly, even with thoughts you don't get to see in a movie.

I loved the fact that Tessa is such a bookworm, so I really liked all the quotes and characters that Cassandra Clare put in this book. Amazing! (even though there were spoilers in it about those books that I've not read yet). There were so many quotes that I liked:

“When you find a man you wish to marry, Tessa, remember this: You will know what kind of man he is not by the things he says, but by the things he does.”

This quote is soo true and I thing we must always remember.

“Whatever you are physically...male or female, strong or weak, ill or healthy--all those things matter less than what your heart contains. If you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. All those other things, they are the glass that contains the lamp, but you are the light inside.”

I seriously love this quote and I want to put in in my room somewhere! This gives me motivation to do everything I want in my life.

I also liked the brother/sister relationship between Nathaniel and Tessa, but the ending! But that thing with Tessa, Will (William) en Jem (James) , omygosh! I liked the sarcasm of Will, but I liked Jem better as a character and she should choose Jem

The other thing I liked was that Cassandra Clare describes the secondary characters and not just the main characters. I loveeeed Jessamine and Sophie so much!

*Spoiler*

I didn't see it coming that Nate (Nathaniel) lied to everyone and worked with Mortmain from the beginning. And the fact that Thomas died was soo sad too! I also didn't realise that Mrs. Dark (?) was a shape changer and that she was the cat!

So you must already realized that I really, really, really like this book and I would recommend it to everyone!
