Review: The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
So, I'm finally caught up with this series: AND IT'S SO GOOD! But first the summary before I tell my opinion.
Summary of Cinder:
Humans and androids crowd the raucous streets of New Beijing. A deadly plague ravages the population. From space, a ruthless lunar people watch, waiting to make their move. No one knows that Earth’s fate hinges on one girl.
Cinder, a gifted mechanic, is a cyborg. She’s a second-class citizen with a mysterious past, reviled by her stepmother and blamed for her stepsister’s illness. But when her life becomes intertwined with the handsome Prince Kai’s, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an intergalactic struggle, and a forbidden attraction. Caught between duty and freedom, loyalty and betrayal, she must uncover secrets about her past in order to protect her world’s future.
There are six books in this series, well actually 3 books en 3 novella's, and the forth book is coming out next year.

My opinion:
This is seriously one of the best series I have ever read. I love the universe, so the Moon (Lunar) and Earth thing was really awesome. I also love the fact that Earth is so small in this series so they're ''travelling'' from Asia, Europe and Africa. Yes, even Africa. I'm a computer nerd, so I also love the technical stuff as well and fairytales. Yes, fairytales. But not just fairytales. Cinder is a re-telling of Cinderella, but only the ball, the shoe thing and the stepmother and sisters. Scarlet is about Red Riding Hood and Cress is about Rapunzel. But the re-tellings are written in a very unique way. Cinder is a cyborg (from Lunar) and Lunars are very beautiful and they can manipulate people, but Cinder doesn't do that as much as Queen Levana. Really, Queen Levana is such a bitch (yes I hate her). I can't believe Kai wants to marry her even though he doesn't love her, but only to save Earth (while he is in love with Cinder and she thinks there's an other way to save Earth). I don't trust Winter either. Wat is she going to do in the next book? I also still can't believe Kai didn't know who princes Selene was... like: seriously?!
So the feels: if you still haven't read this series: go read it now! I also really liked the novella's as well. This is seriously one of the best series I've ever read and I think I'm going to reread it very often. There is so much to say about this series, but I think you really should read it before you'll understand it.
Have you read The Lunar Chronicles and did you like this series as much as I do?
