The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
So, I finally read The Fault In Our Stars! I don't know why it took me so long but I don't like to read a book or watch a movie when it's that hyped up. When the movie came out John Green was EVERYWHERE. Like, literally everywhere. He even had interviews with YouTubers who normally don't read a book. So I was like: you'll only like that book if you don't read that much.
But I went to the theatre last month to see the movie and it was amazing. I NEVER cry when I'm reading a book or watching a movie, but this one did! I didn't cry when I was reading the book though, because I already know the story so I was prepared.
But I don't like the book as much as I like the movie. In the movie the book comes more alive. I like the fact that Amsterdam was a huge part in this story. Dutch is my native language, so I can pronounce all the names perfectly als I also went to Amsterdam a few years ago (I didn't go to the Anna Frank museum because the waiting line was too long, but I really wanted to go!).
I'm sure you all have read the book and/or seen the movie, so I don't think I have to tell you the story, but you my opinion. :)
Which did you like more: the book or the movie?
